I have two questions:in texas is a class c operator for driving cars. or is A and B operators for driving cars
sure B
Reply:if i am not mistaken, it has been 2 years since i lived in texas. class c is for cars, A %26amp; B are CDL
Reply:in Texas class A is a CDL class B means that you can drive ten wheeled vehicles and a class C is a common licenses for everyone
Reply:Class C is for cars or buses carrying not more that 16 passengers, including driver.
Class B is a Commercial Driver License CDL, for those operating a single vehicle(no trailer) like a cement truck, with a gross vehicular weight rating of 26,001 lbs or more, or a bus carrying more than 16 passengers, including driver.
Class A is a CDL for those operating a combination vehicle, like 18 wheeler (combination meaning truck and trailer combo) with a gross combined vehicle weight rating of 26,001 lbs or more, or a towed unit (trailer) with a gross weight of 10,001 lbs or more.
Looking at other answers, its important to point out that the number of wheels has ZERO bearing on which license is required. If Farmer John is hauling hay with his 4 wheeled pickup and a trailer with 2 or 4 wheels, and that trailer has over 10,001lbs of hay (not hard to do), then Farmer John needs a Class A license, because of his trailer weight..
So far, Matt R is the only one to answer correctly... And me, of course, but I know all of this because its my profession.
Reply:Class C for driving cars and trucks.
A and B is for restrictions listed on the license.
